The Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology has recently released the 2024 List of Shandong Provincial Green Manufacturing Units, in which Shandong Huacheng Hi-Tech Adhesive Co., Ltd. （Huacheng）was recognized as a “Shandong Provincial Green Factory” for its outstanding achievements in energy conservation, green manufacturing, and sustainable development.
As a core component of Shandong’s green manufacturing framework, the “Green Factory” designation is awarded to enterprises that comprehensively implement environmentally friendly practices across operations, maintain green management systems, and adopt clean energy and efficient processes. Evaluation criteria include:
- Integration of sustainability in product design
- Systematic use of energy-saving equipment and environmental protection facilities
- Development and application of waterborne, solvent-free, bio-based, and biodegradable materials
- Management of life-cycle resource efficiency and waste minimization
This recognition affirms Huacheng’s technical strength and sense of social responsibility under the guidance of green development principles. The company has made waterborne and eco-friendly innovation a strategic focus, aiming to lead the adhesive industry toward greener transformation at the source.
