Application Process
- Designed for dry lamination and requires a laminating machine with a drying tunnel and heated rollers.
- Recommended operating parameters:
– Drying tunnel temperature: 60–95°C
– Laminating roller temperature: 60–80°C
– Laminating pressure: 8–20 kg/cm² - When conditions allow, it is recommended to dry the adhesive to 70%–90% before lamination, because:
– The laminated product will have higher gloss
– The lamination speed can be faster
– The laminating roller temperature should be kept below 50°C to prevent bubbling
– Pressure should be slightly reduced to avoid adhesive extrusion
Precautions
When using a fully dried adhesive process, increase the laminating roller temperature and pressure appropriately (without damaging the film) to achieve better bonding strength.
