Application Process
- Printed materials must be completely dry before lamination.
- Use BOPP films with a corona treatment level ≥38 dyne, and ensure the treated sideis coated with adhesive.
- Clean the coating roller before use to ensure no residual adhesive or contaminants.
- Apply adhesive evenly to avoid insufficient coating or snowflake-like bright spots.
- For powder-sprayed prints, it is recommended to remove the powder before lamination and use a powder-covering adhesive.
- After rewinding, wait until the laminated surface becomes transparent and free of cloudiness before slitting.
- For new printed materials or different adhesive batches, always conduct a trial lamination before mass production.
Precautions
- Do not add water or mix with other adhesives.
- Store away from direct sunlight, heat, and freezing. If frozen, thaw slowly at room temperature and filter before use.
- Keep sealed to prevent skinning and mold.
- Avoid prolonged downtime during operation to prevent adhesive drying on rollers.
- For gold/silver card prints, conduct a trial lamination and leave it for 24 hours to ensure no discoloration.
- Avoid using strong alkaline adhesives for mounting or laminating onto corrugated board to prevent delamination, bubbling, or other defects.
